Ben’s journey into the world of motorsports began with a deep-seated passion sparked by attending IMSA events at Watkins Glen International. The thrilling atmosphere and high-octane action ignited his love for racing, leading him to pursue a career on the track.
Ben joined Strathmont Racing Group in 2024 for the inaugural season of the DDRL. His alignment with the team’s core values made Strathmont Racing Group the ideal fit for his aspirations. Strathmont Racing Group proved to be the best team a driver could ask for, as their hard work and dedication to racing won them the constructors and subsequently, Ben the drivers championship for the 2024 season.
With the new regulation and rebrand that gave birth to the TPRL. Strathmont Racing Group has created a subsidiary team in collaboration with Sneasel Boost racing to compete in the 2025 season. That subsidiary is “Hyperion Dynamics”.
Ben has since signed with Hyperion Dynamics for the 2025 TPRL season along with his teammate Ryder Thunderbolt. Ben is a Rookie in the League, with only one prior season under his belt. He aims to improve his performance on-track and become a more consistent driver.

In the heart of Johto, nestled between the rolling hills and vibrant Pokémon towns, lay a small racing track called Spark Circuit. It was here that young Ryder Thunderbolt first made his mark. Ryder grew up in the nearby town of Goldenrod, where he was known for his fascination with both Pokémon and racing. As a child, he spent hours watching local races, dreaming of one day becoming a champion. His favorite Pokémon, Pikachu, became his lucky charm, inspiring him to adopt the nickname “Thunderbolt” as a symbol of his drive and electrifying speed.
